Matt & Kim: Sidewalks

Unofficially Matt & Kim’s new album, Sidewalks leaked last month on the 27th.
Officially it dropped yesterday and it is a triumphant return to form.
The pair are true anthem makers. It’s hard, nay, it is impossible to keep your feet still listening to most of the songs herein (except maybe the one slow track: Northeast). Not only are their tracks infectious and dancey but their live shows are a blast! I had the immense pleasure of seeing them live back at the end of September during Virgin Mobile FreeFest and it was likely the most memorable performance I saw that day, what with the witty banter, Kim’s booty shaking, and the hundreds of balloons…
