February 22nd, 2016 – A vector I started over 5 years ago, finally completed this winter. Based on a painting by Tara Babando.
October 11th, 2015 – A vector inspired by the song Laws of Motion by Man Without Country.
March 2nd, 2014 – I asked a friend what her favorite color was and what her favorite animal was. She said “purple wolf” and so I created just that.
For each day of July, 2013 I created a high-resolution vector image with animals, patterns, and blurry colors as the overarching theme. They turned out spectacularly.
February 9th, 2012 – Space Bella, version 2.0. More space cat greatness.
November 7th, 2011 – A friend of mine has an incredibly photogenic cat named Bella. I decided to turn a photo of her into a cool spacy wallpaper.
For each day of June, 2011 I created a high-resolution vector image with colors and textures as the overarching theme. This may become be a yearly adventure.
For each day of May, 2010 I created a large high-resolution vector image of whatever came to mind. Art ensued.
July 11th, 2010 – I decided I needed a new Facebook profile picture. Thanks to my roommate for helping capture the perfect running pose to transform into a vector.
March 20th, 2010 – I created a new vector of my profile wearing glasses inspired by a couple of the scenes in the music video for the song "Symphonies" by Dan Black.
November 30th, 2009 – After a week of on-and-off work I created a vector of myself wearing a classy new three-piece suit!
September 21st, 2009 – Given that the Crystal Cat was my re-interpretation of prior art, I set out to make a similar koala.
July 30th, 2009 – After watching the music video for the song “Crystal Cat” by Dan Deacan I was inspired to recreate one of the images from the video. Original by Dina Kelberman.
December 10th, 2007 – Friends and I played a faux poker tournament one weekend and a few days later I created a retro-esque vector from a photo of myself.
October 4th, 2007 – Meerkats have always fascinated me. They have such intriguing and altruistic behavior. What better animal to vectorize?
June 23rd, 2007 – The lion. The king of the jungle. Or, more appropriately the savannah I think. Based on a small icon which I found in KDE.
